New Black Panther Party

The New Black Panther Party is a United States-based black political organization founded in Dallas, Texas in 1989. The organization is not associated with the Black Panther Party. The Anti-Defamation League, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights consider the New Black Panthers to be a hate group. The group has recently called for the capture of George Zimmerman, a man accused with killing Trayvon Martin, a black Florida teen. The group is offering a bounty of $10,000 for Zimmerman's capture. The bounty has been denounced by the U.S. government and law enforcement, and anyone pursuing the bounty will be arrested.
