The Micro

The Micro is a compact 3D printer developed and manufactured by M3D. Designed as a low-cost, consumer-grade 3D printer that offers plug-and-play experience for the average home user, The Micro raised nearly $2.5 million M3D in funding in just four days from its initial debut on Kickstarter.com.

The Micro uses a technology called micro motion sensing and a feedback system built into the print head to provide auto-leveling and auto-calibration, allowing the printer to work even after thousands of hours of use. The micro 3D printer supports a number of different printing materials such as ABS, PLA, and standard filament spools available on the market and can print from user created or downloaded 3D models such as toys, jewelry, or other objects.
