Vénus

Vénus est un chat à deux visages, frappante avec ses yeux de couleur différente et sa fourrure uniformément divisée au centre entre le noir et l’orange. Portant le nom scientifique de chat de Chimère, Vénus est issue de deux souches de cellules génétiquement distinctes provenant de zygotes différents.

Vénus a fait sensation dans le monde entier lorsque ses photos se sont répandues sur le web à la fin août 2012. Des théoriciens de conspiration en ligne ont soupçonné que les photos avaient été modifiées ou même que le chat avait été peint au pistolet, mais lors d’une apparition publique de Vénus avec ses propriétaires, Christina et Chris, on a constaté l’authenticité de Vénus.

Avant d'être adoptée par ses propriétaires actuels, Venus était un chat errant vivant dans une ferme laitière de la Caroline du Nord.
