I am a Proz-certified professional Arabic translator based in Egypt. With a wide range of experience in many translation areas since 1998, I have a 13-year professional translation experience in the fields of travel and tourism, hospitality, ICT, finance and business, science and medicine, advertising, marketing, journalism and public relations, government and international organizations, education and learning.
I have an excellent experience in using translation memory tools such as SDL Trados Studio 2009 SP2, Logoport, Lionbridge Translation Workspace, Catalyst, Flexytrans, Helium, and SDLX. My production rate is 2000-3000 words daily with an excellent Arabic style and ultimate linguistic and grammatical quality.
An ICT journalist working for Ahram newspaper, the biggest and oldest newspaper in the Arab world (www.ahram.org.eg) since 2003, I won the prestigious Arab Journalism Award for the best IT article published in the Arab World three times in 2005, 2007, and 2009 and nominated for the best article in 2011.
I am also a certified Teacher of Arabic for Foreigners from the American University in Cairo in April 2011.
