Lacrosse

Lacrosse is a team sport played with a small rubber ball and a long stick with a basket called a crosse. The object of the game is to use the crosse to throw the ball into the opposing team's goal. The game is a contact sport and requires padding on the head shoulders and arms.

This is when one player is playing or is guarding an opposing player very closely. Closely is usually defined as a stick's length.

When one player is substituted for another player while the ball is in play. An On The Fly substitution usually happens when a team has the ball.
