Home > Blossary: Boeing 777
Manufactured by Boeing of the United States, the Boeing 777 is a long-range wide-body twin-engine jet airliner with a seating capacity for 314 to 451 passengers, and a range of 5,235 to 9,380 nautical miles. It is the world's first entirely computer-designed commercial aircraft developed in consultation with eight major airlines. The aircraft features the largest-diameter turbofan engines at the time, six wheels on each main landing gear, a circular fuselage cross-section, a blade-shaped tail cone, and the fly-by-wire system, the first plane from Boeing to do so. Boeing 777 has a number of variants based on different design criteria.
