To depart. (Probably from the military command meaning disperse.) * It’s late, G. I have to fall out. * Let’s fall out. I have to get up early in the morning.

To fall far down, as with the drop in some measurement. * The temperature really fell out of bed last night! It was twenty-three below! * The stock market fell out of bed last year at this time.
