New York Times
The New York Times is an American daily newspaper published in New York City. Nicknamed "the grey Lady", and long regarded within the industry as a national newspaper of record, it's the largest metropolitan newspaper in the United States. Founded in 1851, the newspaper has won 106 Pulitzer Prizes as of December 2011, more than any other newspaper. The New York Times is owned by The New York Times Company which also publishes The Boston Globe and the International Herald Tribune among others.
Like most newspapers that have seen increased competition from online news sources, the New York Times has been struggling with a persistent decline in advertising revenue.
