The Big Wedding

The Big Wedding is a 2013 American romantic comedy film directed by Justin Zackham. It is an American remake of the original 2006 Swiss/French film Mon frère se marie (fr) (My Brother is Getting Married), written by Jean-Stéphane Bron and Karine Sudan.

This movie is about a long-divorced couple faking being married for the sake of their adopted son's wedding after his ultra conservative biological mother unexpectedly decides to fly halfway across the word to attend. With alll of the wedding guests looking on, the Griffins are hilariously forced to confront their past, present and future - and hopefully avoid killing each other in the process.as their family unites for a wedding.

The film stars a large ensemble cast including Robert De Niro, Katherine Heigl, Diane Keaton, Amanda Seyfried, Topher Grace, Ben Barnes, Susan Sarandon, and Robin Williams. It was released on April 26, 2013 by Lionsgate in the United States and Canada.
