A professional who tends slicing machine that cuts plugs (cheeses) of tobacco into slice-plug smoking tobacco. Respnsibilities include:

Arranges plugs in even piles on cutting board.

Starts machine and tightens setscrew to feed plugs under reciprocating knife.

Holds cut slices together in form of plugs from which slices are cut, using stick.

Slides sliced tobacco onto tray.

Replaces dull knife blade, using wrench.
