Why is it that African mosquitoes do cause Malaria and the other mosquitoes around the world do not cause malaria?

Malaria is the leading killer in Africa, atleast 2 children die from the disease per minute.

Actually Malaria is widespread in tropical regions, meaning that it does not only occur in Africa, but also in places such as Brazil, India, China etc. Malaria is wider known in Africa as prevention is not as common there as other places.
