prehipertensión
La prehipertensión es cuando la presión arterial (la presión de la sangre contra las paredes de las arterias) es que van constantemente 120-139 / 80-89. Las personas con pre-hipertensión son propensos a desarrollar presión arterial alta, a menos que se tomen medidas para controlarlo. La presión arterial es óptima a menos de 120/80 y se considera alta si está por encima de 140/90. La presión arterial alta aumenta el riesgo de ataque al corazón, el pecho, accidente cerebrovascular, insuficiencia renal y enfermedad arterial periférica.
