A circular to elongate feature which is surrounded by multiple concentric ridges. Coronae are thought to be formed by hot spots.
berm breakwater

Rubble mound with horizontal berm of armour stones at about sea-side water level, which is allowed to be (re)shaped by the waves.
arete

A narrow, knife-edged ridge with steep sides found in high areas of glaciated regions. These result from the formation of corries.
b horizon

The subsoil. This layer lies below the topsoil and contains more clay and iron oxides than either the A- horizon or the C-horizon.
bearing capacity

A value placed on the difference between a soil and its underlying soil or rock which indicates the likelihood of a sheer failure.
blowhole
Earth science; Geology
A sea cave with a collapsed roof. Water hits the back of the cave with force, shooting it through the hole in the top of the cave.
