safety cup

This is a special cup that holds the back rail of a spread fence that lets go of and drops the rail if the horse hits it. See Cup
schooling area

An area that is set-aside in show jumping competitions for exercising the horses before they begin competing.
six bar

This is when six barriers are placed in a straight line for the horse and rider to jump over. The area between the jumps allows for 2-3 strides to be taken by the horse.
snaffle reins
Sports; Equestrian
The snaffle reins are attached to the Bridoon bit and help to keep the horses head down.
