A name given to a particularly tough enemy in a video game. They are frequently found at the end of an area or level and are often unique.
final boss

The name given to the final enemy in a video game. They tend to be among the hardest enemies in the game and their defeat will initiate the conclusion of the story.
ending sequence

The final series of events that concludes a video game. They can be player controlled or a simple video depicting events. Usually followed by the credits sequence.
credits

The reel of names showing all the people that worked on the video game. Frequently shown after the ending sequence, rarely shown at the beginning of a game or from a menu.

A short introduction to the game world and the mechanics used within it. Sometimes integrated into the story.

A boss that appears in the middle of a stage or area that is designed to weaken or challenge the player before the proper boss.
