Water
Water is a chemical compound with the chemical formula H20. A water molecule contains one hydrogen atom and two oxygen atoms. Water is a liquid at standard ambient temperature and pressure though it can be a solid (ice)in low temperatures or evaporate into water vapor a higher temperatures.

Water
depletion
Natural environment; Water
Loss of water from surface water reservoirs or groundwater aquifers at a rate greater than that of recharge.
hydrologic model
Natural environment; Water
a computer model of a watershed used to evaluate how precipitation contributes to flow in streams. Compare hydraulic model.
oxidation-reduction potential
Natural environment; Water
The electric potential required to transfer electrons from the oxidant to the reductant, used as a qualitative measure of the state of oxidation in water treatment systems.
solubility
Natural environment; Water
The amount of mass of a compound that will dissolve in a unit volume of water.
advanced oxidation process
Natural environment; Water
One of several combination oxidation processes. Advanced chemical oxidation processes use (chemical) oxidants to reduce COD/BOD levels, and to remove both organic and oxidisable inorganic components. ...
depletion curve
Natural environment; Water
In hydraulics, a graphical representation of water depletion from storage-stream channels, surface soil, and groundwater. A depletion curve can be drawn for base flow, direct runoff, or total flow.
hydrologic unit
Natural environment; Water
is a geographic area representing part or all of a surface drainage basin or distinct hydrologic feature.
