Alessandra Corine Ambrósio, borned on April, 11th on 1981 (Rio grande do sul, Brasil). She is descendant from italian and polish. At 12 years old, she enrolled in modeling classes, then began modeling for Dilson Stein. At 15 years old, She won the Elite Model Look Brazil began her modeling career seriously.

His first notable modeling job was the cover of Brazilian Elle magazine. Since then she has appeared in advertisements for brands like Revlon and Christian Dior, Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren, as well as the Pirelli Calendar. She has modeled for designers such as Prada, Chanel, and Oscar de la Renta. He has appeared on numerous covers of international magazines, including Cosmopolitan, Elle, GQ, Harper 's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Ocean Drive, Vogue and the only model to appear on the cover of Glamour US in 2006.

In 2004 she launched her line of swimwear called Alessandra Ambrosio. It sold 10,000 units in only its first month on the market.

Currently, she is one of the Top Models of Victoria's Secret brand.
