Avatar: The Last Airbender
An American animated TV series set in a world where some people, called benders, can manipulate fire, water, air, or earth. The main protagonist is 12-year-old Aang, the divine entity known as the Avatar. In the show, Aang is on a mission to master all four elements and to end the war between the Fire Nation and the rest of the world. He is accompanied his two pets Appa and Momo, Katara the Waterbender girl, Katara's brother Sokka, and Toph the blind Earth-bender.
This TV series was rated the best animated television series in its demographic. It was later adapted into a comic book series and movie. A sequel series, "The Legend of Korra" premiered in 2012.
