BeoPlay V1

The Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay V1 32 is a 1080p LED edge-lit HDTV featuring five HDMI inputs, a USB port for playing photos, movies, or music from an external source, and a slot behind the TV so you can tuck away your Apple TV out of sight. Created by designer Anders Hermansen, the television comes in either black or white, and allows owners to slide in one of five different fabric sleeves behind the front grill to give the display a splash of color.

“The BeoPlay V1 has its roots in a Scandinavian idiom of no-nonsense aesthetics and craftsmanship. The rugged steel cabinet, powder coated so that it feels almost soft to the touch, combines clean lines with exquisite metal joinery. The loudspeaker grill is stamped directly into the cabinet, below the screen. And the stainless steel stands connect unobtrusively and simply at all four corners.”

BeoPlay V1 is available in two frame finishes: anthracite grey (black) and white. The tubular (silver-coloured) front/surround is standard. Optional accessories include a coloured fabric front in dark grey, red, yellow, silver or green. Frets can be changed easily and spare covers can be stored when not in use in a built-in compartment. In place of the usual ‘Bang & Olufsen’ logo on the front, a ‘B&O” logo is used.
