Fearless
Fearless is Taylor Swift's second studio album and third album overall. The album was released on November 11, 2008 by Big Machine Records. As with her debut album 'Taylor Swift', she wrote or co-wrote all thirteen tracks on Fearless. In this album, Swift abandons any pretense that she's a teen without running away from her youth in a manner that's all too familiar to many teen stars. Swift's maturity is deliberate and careful, styled after the crossover country-pop of Shania Twain and Faith Hill before they turned into divas.
Most of the Fearless songs were written as Swift promoted her debut album. Because of the unavailability of collaborators on the road, Swift self-penned eight songs. Other songs were co-written with Liz Rose, Hillary Lindsey, Colbie Caillat, and John Rich. With Fearless, she also made her debut as a record producer, co-producing all songs on the album with Nathan Chapman. To promote the album, the singer embarked on her first headlining concert tour, the Fearless Tour, which expanded from April 2009 to June 2010.
Fearless was an international breakthrough and commercial success for Swift. The album topped the Billboard 200 for eleven non-consecutive weeks, setting various records, including the longest chart-topper by a female country artist. On Billboard's Country Albums chart, the album logged a record 36 weeks at number one. With 3.2 million copies sold in 2009, the album became the year's best-seller, making Swift, 20 at the time, the youngest artist to have one. Furthermore, it became the only album to elapse a full year in the top ten of the Billboard 200. Since its release, Fearless has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.
Fearless includes the following songs:
- Fearless
