Halle Berry

(1966- ) Maria Halle Berry is an American actress and model. In 2001 she became the first and only woman of African American descent to have won the Academy Award for Best Actress and she has been involved in the production of several of the films in which she performed ( she is one of the most best paid actresses in Hollywood). About her career as a model, she reached the 1st position in the Miss USA Pageant (1986) and the 6th place in the Miss World Pageant in the same year and she has been a Revlon spokeswoman since 1996. She has also been the face of Versace.

She made her film debut with a small role in 1991's Jungle Fever. Since then she has starred several films and she became a Bond girl in 2002 (Die Another Day). She is also well known for her role as the superhero Storm in X-Men and for being Catwomen in the film with the same name (she won the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actress in 2005 for that film and she decided to accepted the award in person). Berry also appeared in the music video Behind Blue Eyes of Limp Bizkit.

Berry has been married twice and she has a daughter called Nahla Ariela Aubry.
