Jon Foo

(1982- ) Jonathan Patrick Foo was born in London. His father is a Chinese from Singapore, and his mother is an Irish from England, which is also where he grew up. His father practices karate and his mother practices judo and he started learning kung fu when he was eight years old but he began serious training for wushu when he was 15. Also at the age of 15 he joined the circus as a martial artist and acrobat.

At 22 Jon was invited to Hong Kong to join the Jackie Chan stunt team, where he worked with some of the top performers in action cinema, including the world renowned action choreographer Yuen Woo Ping. Later he traveled to Thailand where he landed a featured role alongside Tony Jaa in "THE PROTECTOR" and signed a three year contract with the film company "Baa Ram Ewe". In 2008 Jon was invited to Los Angeles (where he currently lives) to perform the character "Jin Kazama" in the film "TEKKEN" where he booked his first lead role. He also does stunts for other actors.

Jon Foo’s recent work includes "UNIVERSAL SOLDIERS: REGENERATION", "STREET FIGHTER LEGACY" and "REBIRTH".
