Repeater

This is an electronic device that acquires a network signal, removed unwanted noise, and restores it. The network signal is retransmitted at a stronger level of power, or to the other area of an obstruction, so that the signal can manage longer distances without any degradation. In most twisted pair Ethernet settings, repeaters are required for cable that runs more than 100 meters.
