Thai Cuisine

A cuisine composed of dishes filled with vivid textures, colours, aromas and spices. Over the past centuries, its culinary traditions have been influenced by neighbouring countries’ cuisines, where regional variations most often correlate with the neighbouring states. The quality and variety of this country's street food is world-renowned, its national capital is often mentioned as being one of the best street food cities in the world, some even go as far to coin it the street food capital of the world.

Note:

1) Neighbouring states, more often than not, share the same cultural background on both sides of the border. For instance, cuisine in Northern Thailand shares dishes with the Shan State in Burma.
