The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection

Released initially as an exclusive at Target stores and online for the holiday season of 2007, the year between Taylor Swift's 2006 debut and her 2007 breakthrough Fearless, The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection seamlessly balances Swift's pop and country music styles. The album was re-released to iTunes and Amazon.com on December 2, 2008 and again in October 2009 to Target stores. The album is an extended play (EP) with six songs only, too short to qualify as a full studio album or LP.

The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection features two originals written by Swift, "Christmases When You Were Mine" and "Christmas Must Be Something More", in addition to a collection of holiday classics: "Santa Baby," "Silent Night," "White Christmas," and Wham!'s modern-day standard "Last Christmas". In her singing, she gave the music a crisp and cheerful representation that is both seasonal and true to her bright country-pop style.

The album received favorable responses from the music critics (although some would have liked a full album) and generated good commercial success, peaking at number twenty on the Billboard 200 and at number one on Top Holiday Albums. Songs from The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection have been performed at several venues.

The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection includes the following songs:

  1. Last Christmas
  2. Christmases When You Were Mine
  3. Santa Baby
  4. Silent Night
  5. Christmas Must Be Something More
  6. White Christmas.
