The Xinhua News Agency is the official news agency of the government of the People’s Republic of China. It is the biggest centre for collecting information and press conferences in China. Xinhua has over 10,000 employees, operates in 107 countries worldwide, and maintains a bureau in each province in China as well as a military bureau. Xinhua prints in eight languages: Chinese, English, Spanish, French, Russian, Portuguese, Arabic and Japanese
