numerator

The number above or to the left of the line in a fraction. The lower number (the denominator) shows the total number of equal parts that the whole is divided into.

percent

One part of a hundred. For example, 40 percent(also written 40%) means 40 parts out of 100.
positive

Greater than zero. The plus sign is sometimes used to show that a number is positive such as +2.
prime number

A positive whole number that can not be divided by any whole number except itself and 1 without leaving a remainder. 7, 27, and 37 are prime numbers.
quantity

A number, or a symbol that represents a number. Addition, subtraction, and division are performed on quantities.
quotient
Mathematics; Calculus
The number that results when one number is divided by another. If 6 is divided by 3, the quotient can be represented as 2.
