Una forma de energía que se transfiere entre dos sistemas en virtud de una diferencia de temperatura. La primera ley de la termodinámica demostraron que el calor absorbido por un sistema puede ser utilizado por el sistema para hacer el trabajo o para aumentar su energía interna.
