French for "trader". A wine merchant who assembles the produce of smaller growers and winemakers and sells the result under its own name.

Amtliche Prüfnummer (AP number)
Beverages; Wine

The official testing number displayed on a German wine label that shows that the wine was tasted and passed government quality control standards.
