Jacinda Saldanha was a nurse at King Edward VII's Hospital in London whom was found dead on the 7th December 2012, 3 days after taking a hoax call made by Australian Radio DJs impersonating members of the UK Royal Family. At the time the Duchess of Cambridge was being treated at the hospital for severe morning sickness, and after answering the call from the 2DayFM presenters, Jacinda Saldanha passed the phone to another nurse who disclosed confidential information on the Duchess' condition. Southern Cross Austereo who owns 2DayFM announced that all advertising profits earnt by the station over the rest of the year would be donated to Ms. Saldanha's family.
