This movie is about an alcoholic depressive clown trying to be the star of a children's program whose habits and disordered life will put the things a little more difficult than normal. Written and directed by Bobcat Goldthwait, like many of the other clowns and mimes in this film Shakes are concerned about their status as a performer, especially in the context of the subculture of clown. When not acting in birthday parties, Shakes is half kibble day. A real tearjerker child.
