continuum fallacy

A fallacy that is committed by an argument that appeals to the vagueness of a term to unreasonably conclude something (perhaps based on the fact that we can't draw the line). For example, we might not know where to draw the line concerning how many hairs can be on a person's head before that person is no longer bald, but we would commit the continuum fallacy to conclude from that fact that no one is bald.
