dog tags
Dog tags are one of the two main collectibles of Battlefield 4 that can add a significant amount of gameplay value. The other collectibles are finding new weapons the player's character hasn't used before. Each level in the campaign has two to three dog tags that are hidden in areas the player might not normally look to traverse. The trick to finding these tags is to listen for an audio trigger. This chime is the same sound that occurs when the player receives a weapon that currently isn't in his or her database. As the player nears a dog tag in a specific level, close attention must be paid to this sound as it may occur in the heat of battle. When dog tags have been secured, they can also be used as the Multiplayer character's set of tags.
