Un tipo de glóbulo blanco y una parte versátil del sistema inmune. Constantemente patrullando, los macrófagos pueden encontrar y matar a muchos tipos diferentes de bacterias. Por lo general, son los primeros en responder a cualquier invasión al cuerpo.
