virus residente
Este tipo de virus se carga en la memoria y permanece inactivo hasta que ocurra un evento que lo active. Cuando ocurre un evento, el virus se activa e infecta un archivo o disco, causando otras consecuencias. Todos los virus de reinicio son virus residentes.
