The property of an enzyme that acts repetitively on a single macromolecule, such as a polymerase on its template or a kinesin on myosin, to remain attached to the polymer between cycles of action.
concerted reaction

A chemical or enzymic reaction in which several operations, e.g. attachment of an incoming group and departure of a leaving group, occur simultaneously and on opposite sides of the reaction center.
