2015 Chevy Corvette Z06
The Chevrolet Corvette is a sports car manufactured by the Chevrolet division of General Motors (GM). Its latest model is the 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 coupe powered by GM's 620 horsepower supercharged LT4 V8 engine, delivering 650 pound-feet of torque. The new Corvette Z06 is equipped with plenty of add-on aerodynamic bits designed to keep the car connected to the tarmac at speeds near the 200-mph. The car also features deeply vented hood, a large rear spoiler, an aggressive front splitter and additional cooling vents in the fender, rear quarter and hind haunches.
The first Corvette model, a convertible, was designed as a concept show car in 1953 and was named after a type of small, maneuverable warship called a corvette. The sports car has been produced in seven generations.
