The generic name given to drugs that are unlabelled and unknown, yet still bought and ingested by drug abusers. Bath salts have become a hot topic since the "zombie face eater" attack that occurred in Miami at the end of May 2012, which has so far been blamed on bath salts despite a lack of evidence. The USA have now banned a large number of common drugs found in bath salts despite not testing them to see if they actually have any negative or medically beneficial effects.
