The goalkeeper tries to stop the ball from going in the goal. Just like in every other game that has a goalkeeper. They are the only player that is allowed to touch the ball with their body, but once the goalkeeper has prevented a goal they canít stop or keep the ball or pick it up, they must put it back in play. The goalkeeper wears a helmet, a facemask, along with abdomen, chest and leg protectors.
