I introduced the term "elderly companions" and it appears in a Fiat Argentina advertisement. First, I'm going to define "a senior citizen" and then the original context in which the meaning of "the elderly companions" can be deduced. This is the term or name given to those who belong to the age group comprised of people who are over 65 years old. It is generally considered that older adults, only for having reached this age range, are known as belonging to the third age or, the elderly. The elderly passed through a stage of life that is regarded as the last, in which life projects have already been accomplished and enjoying the rest of life with a peace of mind becomes more attainable. Senior citizens have usually stopped working or even retired, so their income decreases considerably, which along with the associated health problems of that age, may have consequences in all areas of their lives.

The presenter continues by saying:
